JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 31 May 2013, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 446,488 Ordinary shares at 614.33 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 2,339,417 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 119,848,084. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
