JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On Friday 30 November 2012, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 260,919 Ordinary shares at 552.19 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 1,355,674 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 120,812,323. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
