JPMORGAN EMERGING MARKETS INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

On 1 March 2016, JPMorgan Emerging Markets Investment Trust plc purchased into Treasury 142,549 Ordinary shares at 540.71 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 4,357,698 ordinary shares in Treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of Treasury shares is 128,005,827. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
