New Director

The Board of JPMorgan Fleming European Fledgeling Investment Trust plc are
pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Michael Wrobel as a non-executive
Director with immediate effect.

Mr Wrobel has twenty five years experience in the investment industry, having
been both a portfolio manager and business manager.  This includes eight years
(1994-2002) with Gartmore Investment Management where he held the position of
Director, Head of UK Retail.

In accordance with paragraph 16.4 of the FSA Listing Rules.  The Company
discloses that Mr Wrobel is currently a Director of the following publicly
quoted companies.
