INTERIM DIVIDEND DECLARATION

The Board of JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust plc announces that an interim dividend of 6.0 pence per share will be paid on 15^th January 2014 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 20^th December 2013 (ex-dividend date 18^th December 2013).
