JPMORGAN EUROPEAN SMALLER COMPANIES TRUST PLC

DIVIDEND DECLARATION

The Board of JPMorgan European Smaller Companies Trust plc announces today that, subject to shareholder approval at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting, a final dividend of 8.5 pence per share will be paid on 15^th July 2014 to shareholders on the register at the close of business on 6^th June (ex dividend date 4^th June 2014).
