Proposed combination with The Scottish Investment Trust PLC

Transaction Update

The Board of JPMorgan Global Growth & Income plc ("JGGI" or the "Company") announces that it has been advised by The Scottish Investment Trust PLC ("SCIN") that SCIN has completed the buy-in of the benefits under its pension scheme with an insurer, as outlined in the announcement by SCIN on 20 October 2022.

The debt workstreams are, however, taking longer than anticipated and, as such, the Transaction is expected to conclude around the end of Q2 2022, rather than the end of Q1 2022 as previously indicated.

The Company's prospectus and circular in connection with the Scheme is expected to be published following the meeting of the SCIN debt holders and a further update will be provided in due course.

Terms used in this announcement shall, unless the context otherwise requires, bear the meanings given to them in the announcement by the Company on 20 October 2021.
