JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS INCOME TRUST PLC

APPLICATION FOR LISTING OF SHARES

Further to the announcement released yesterday regarding the issue of 7,500,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 113.75 pence per share, the Company advises that applications have been made for those shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and for admission to trading on the main market of the London Stock Exchange. It is expected that admission to the Official List and commencement of dealings in the Shares on the London Stock Exchange will take place at 8.00 a.m. on 23rd November 2012.
