JPMORGAN GLOBAL EMERGING MARKETS INCOME TRUST PLC

ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announced that on Wednesday 13^th July, it issued 350,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 115.50 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 142,655,853 Ordinary shares.
