ISSUE OF SHARES

CORRECTION - 3620H

The number of shares issued is 325,000 not 350,000 as previously announced.

JPMorgan Global Emerging Markets Income Trust plc announces that today it issued 325,000 new Ordinary shares for cash at 112.00 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 172,669,438 Ordinary shares.
