STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUNCEMENT
JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC
Following the Annual General Meeting of the Company which was held today, the
Board is pleased to announce that all of the resolutions put to shareholders
were passed, including the following resolutions which were passed as special
business:
a) to allow the Company to allot relevant securities (within the meaning of
Section 80(2) of the Companies Act 1980) up to an aggregate nominal amount
of £2,657,985 (10,631,940 ordinary shares).
b) to allow the Company to disapply pre-emption rights on the allotment of new
ordinary shares; and
c) to allow the Company to make market purchases of ordinary shares up to an
aggregate nominal amount of £3,679,681 (14,718,725 ordinary
shares).
