JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

The Board of JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Rosemary Morgan as a non-executive Director of the Company with effect from 1st December 2013.

Mrs Morgan is an independent non-executive director of Schroder Asia Pacific Fund plc,  a director of Landau Forte Charitable Trust, which is a sponsor of academy schools, and she is also a trustee of the London Library Pension Fund.

Mrs Morgan spent much of her career managing Japanese equity portfolios at AIB Govett. From 1999 to 2005 she worked in Institutional Marketing and Client Liaison at Fidelity International and from 2007 to 2012 she was Head of Asia and Emerging Markets (Multi Manager Funds) at Royal Bank of Scotland, subsequently acquired by Aberdeen Asset Management.  

No further information is to be disclosed in respect of paragraphs 9.6.13 (2) - (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules for Mrs Morgan.
