JPMorgan Fleming Indian Investment Trust plc announces that today it issued
100,000 ordinary shares to a market participant at 150 pence per share
representing 0.11% of the ordinary shares in issue.

The number of shares issued under the current authority totals 3,695,000.

The remaining shares in issue following this notification are 87,636,392.
