JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc (the 'Company')

Placing and Offer for Subscription of New Ordinary Shares

The Placing and Offer for Subscription of New Ordinary Shares in the Company has closed. 

An aggregate of 261,944 New Ordinary Shares in the Company will be issued at a price of 227 pence per Share, to be settled on 5 November 2008. Subscription Shares will be attached to the New Ordinary Shares on a one for five basis.
