JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

The following amendment has been made to the 'JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc -Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 19 April 2013 at 17.01 under RNS Number 8341C.

The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 105,263,428

All other details remain unchanged. 

The full amended text is shown below.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into treasury 150,000 ordinary shares at 387.45 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 14,724,788 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 105,263,428. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
