JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

The following announcement replaces announcement 9738S released at 17.07 on 13 November 2013 which showed an incorrect headline.  The correct headline should of read transactions in own shares and not total voting rights.  All other information was correct.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into treasury 70,000 ordinary shares at 323.93 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 16,529,788 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 103,896,816. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
