JPMORGAN INDIAN INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

TREASURY STOCK

The following amendment has been made to the 'JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc -Transaction in Own Shares' announcement released on 23/01/2013 at 17.12 under RNS Number 2435W.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into treasury 35,000 ordinary shares at 395.27 pence per share - not 396.28 pence per share.

All other details remain unchanged.

JPMorgan Indian Investment Trust plc has today purchased into treasury 35,000 ordinary shares at 395.27 pence per share.

Following the transaction the Company holds 11,284,788 ordinary shares in treasury. The shares in issue less the total number of treasury shares is 108,649,431. The Company will only re-issue shares held in treasury at a premium to net asset value.
