JPMORGAN FLEMING JAPANESE SMALLER COMPANIES INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES INTO TREASURY

JPMorgan Fleming Japanese Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc has today purchased into Treasury 27,500 ordinary shares at 121.82 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 39,309,423 including 314,500 shares held in Treasury at a weighted average discount of 20.41%.
