The Board of JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust plc announces that Sir Stephen Gomersall, a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2013, has been appointed as the Senior Independent Director of the Company with immediate effect.
The Board further announces the establishment, with immediate effect, of a new Remuneration Committee to be chaired by Mr George Olcott, a Non-Executive Director of the Company since 2016.
The Nomination and Remuneration Committee will be renamed the Nomination Committee and will continue to be chaired by Mr Christopher Samuel.
