JPMorgan Japanese Investment Trust plc (the "Company")

Change of Auditors

A letter has been sent to shareholders of the Company pursuant to Section 520(2) of the Companies Act 2006.  It is for information only and relates to the statutory statement received from Begbies in connection with its resignation as the Company's Auditors with effect from 20^th December 2013 (the date of the Company's Annual General Meeting). 

The resignation follows the Company's formal, competitive review and tender of audit services and the decision to appoint PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as Auditors.  The appointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as Auditors to the Company will be proposed at the Annual General Meeting on 20^th December 2013.
