JPMORGAN MID CAP INVESTMENT TRUST PLC

CHANGE TO FUND MANAGEMENT TEAM

As part of a planned succession following the appointment of Georgina Brittain as joint fund manager in March 2012, the Board of JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc ("the Company") announces that William Meadon will be standing down as joint fund manager of the Company following the Annual General Meeting on 28^th October 2014.  William has been joint manager of the Company since May 2009 and the Board is extremely grateful to him for his wise counsel over the past five years and the significant contribution he has made to the Company over that period.

Georgina Brittain will continue to be assisted by Katen Patel.  Katen has been working with Georgina since he joined J.P.Morgan Asset Management in April 2013.  Previously he had been a small and mid cap equity specialist at HSBC for seven years.
