REPURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION - REPLACEMENT

The following amendment has been made to the 'JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust  plc Repurchase of Shares'  announcement released on 04/09/2012 at 17.21 under RNS No 4960L

JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc has today purchased 25,000 ordinary shares at 416.10 pence per share, not 416.50 pence as originally stated.  All other details remain unchanged.

JPMorgan Mid Cap Investment Trust plc has today purchased 25,000 ordinary shares at 416.10 pence per share.

Following the transaction the remaining shares in issue total 25,398,080 including 1,400,900 shares held in treasury at a weighted average discount of 15.81%.
