ISSUE OF SHARES

Further to the announcements of 9th and 11th July 2013 (RNS number 9151I and RNS number 1206J respectively), JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc confirms that the 50,000 and 30,000 new Ordinary shares were issued for cash to satisfy market demand. Admission of the 50,000 and 30,000 new Ordinary shares is expected to take place respectively at 8.00 a.m. on 12th and 17th July 2013
