ISSUE OF SHARES

JPMorgan US Smaller Companies Investment Trust Plc announces that today it issued 156,910 new Ordinary shares for cash at 159.33 pence per share under its Ordinary share block listing facility. 

Following this issue, the Company's issued share capital consists of 56,970,928 Ordinary shares.
