Judges Scientific plc ('Judges Scientific' or the 'Company')

Director/PDMR Shareholding

Judges Scientific announces that David Cicurel Securities Limited ('DCSL') was placed in members' voluntary liquidation on 19 July 2010.  As a result, the liquidator distributed in satisfaction of loans and in specie the 526,316 Ordinary shares of 5p each in the Company and the 4,166,667 Convertible Redeemable shares of 1p each previously held by DCSL to David Cicurel.  David Cicurel owns 100% of the ordinary shares of DCSL.

This distribution does not vary the ultimate beneficial interest in the Company by David Cicurel, Judges Scientific's Chief Executive.  The interests of David Cicurel in the Company amount to 526,356 Ordinary shares, representing 12.61% of the issued Ordinary share capital, and to 4,166,667 Convertible Redeemable shares of 1p each representing 83.33% of this class.
