Appointment of Independent Non-Executive Director
Kainos Group plc (KNOS), a UK-headquartered IT provider with expertise across three divisions - Digital Services, Workday Services, and Workday Products, is pleased to announce the appointment of James Kidd as an independent Non-Executive Director and as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee, with effect from 01 October 2023.
Having joined AVEVA Group plc in 2004, James was appointed to the board in 2011 and held the roles of CFO, Deputy CEO and CEO. During his time on the board, AVEVA grew to over 6,500 people globally, with revenues of £1.2 billion. James stepped down from AVEVA in February 2023 following the acquisition of the company by Schneider Electric at an enterprise valuation of £10.6 billion.
Commenting on the new appointment, Kainos CEO Brendan Mooney said:

As a director and a key member of the executive management team at AVEVA, James was instrumental in the growth of the company, which saw a six-fold increase during his tenure. The Company confirms that there are no other disclosures that need to be made under Listing Rule 9.6.13 relating to the appointment of James Kidd.
