Appointment of Non-Executive Director

Kape (AIM: KAPE), the digital security and privacy software business, is pleased to announce that Dan Pomerantz has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of the Company.

Dan Pomerantz founded ExpressVPN with Peter Burchhardt in 2009, and together they grew it to become a leading digital privacy provider in the consumer market, before Kape acquired ExpressVPN in December 2021 for approximately $936 million. Dan Pomerantz is a serial entrepreneur who started his first company when he was 21 years old. He has more than 15 years' experience in business leadership and is skilled in operations, marketing, finance, and management.

Save for the information set out above and below, there are no further disclosures to be made in accordance with Rule 17, Schedule Two (g) of the AIM Rules for Companies in respect of the appointment of Daniel ("Dan") Pomerantz, aged 41, who is beneficially interested in 23,413,572 ordinary shares in the Company, held by Pintando Holdings Limited, a company wholly owned by a related party.

At the time of Kape's acquisition of ExpressVPN, it was announced that Peter Burchhardt would have the right to appoint one non-executive director to the board of Kape for so long as the ExpressVPN founders, their close family members and their respective wholly-owned companies, taken together, hold at least 5% of Kape's ordinary shares. Mr Burchhardt is exercising this right by nominating Mr Pomerantz as a Non-Executive Director.
