Kape expands service offerings across key brands
ExpressVP N reinforces market-leading position with multiple product launch
Kape Technologies plc (AIM: KAPE), the digital security and privacy software business, announces that a number of the Company's privacy brands have expanded their platform capabilities and offerings, introducing several new features.
The launch of a number of highly innovative new products, in addition to enhanced features on existing solutions, is closely aligned with significant demand across the digital privacy sector. With the cybersecurity sector delivering its strongest quarter on quarter growth to-date, Kape continues to be firmly focused on delivering best-in-class privacy and security solutions that safeguard consumers' digital lives.
With the VPN service already at the top of most reviewer lists, ExpressVPN has introduced several new features, including:
· Threat Manager : a new privacy feature that protects against nosy apps, trackers, and malware and is available free for ExpressVPN users on iOS, Mac, and Linux, enabling users to shield user traffic from third-party listeners (including ISPs) whilst also blocking user traffic to malicious third parties (including trackers and scammers).
· Parallel Connections : optimises the VPN's connection time, with the feature designed to provide the speediest re-connection when moving between different networks. Kape is constantly striving for faster connection to ensure we cater for our growing always-on customer base who use ExpressVPN as their gateway to the web.
· Keys : a password manager for applications. Currently in public beta, Keys will be trialled by 6,000 beta testers in the coming months, and aims to solve the challenges people have when they forget passwords, alongside addressing the current lack of user-friendly password managers that are available on the market.
· Additionally, we continue to develop meticulous cybersecurity controls to keep our systems and users protected from attacks and intrusions. ExpressVPN has upped its bug bounty program me , offering $100,000 as a one-time bounty via Bugcrowd for anyone who identifies a vulnerability on its VPN server.
In addition, CyberGhost achieved Google Play Protect certification. Introduced by Google to ensure the safety of Android users, CyberGhost achieved this certification by undertaking rigorous security testing before its latest app could appear in Google Play.
