Notifications received by KBC Group NV under transparency legislation

Pursuant to transparency legislation on disclosure, KBC Group NV hereby announces that it has received the following notifications from shareholders:

Notifications received from	Explanation	Notification relating to	Number of ordinary KBC Group NV shares held by the shareholders concerned	% of total voting rights
Cera CVBA ('Cera') and KBC Ancora Comm. VA ('KBC Ancora') (combined)	Number of shares held by Cera1 and KBC Ancora2 decreases following sale on 19 November 2013. As a result, the size of the combined Cera and KBC Ancora shareholding moves below the 25% notification threshold.	19 November 2013	88 643 546	21.26%

1 Number of KBC shares held by Cera has fallen from 29 227 166 (7.01% of the total number of KBC shares) at the time of the previous notification to 11 127 166 (2.67%).
2 Number of KBC shares held by KBC Ancora has fallen from 82 216 380 (19.72%) at the time of the previous notification to 77 516 380 (18.59%).
