Keras Resources plc, the AIM listed mineral resource company, is pleased to announce that it has commenced the 10,000 tonne bulk sampling metallurgical testwork programme ("Bulk Sample") at the Nayega Manganese Project in northern Togo ("Nayega").
Carriere Mines Travaux Public ("CMTP"), Keras's turn-key mining and logistics contractor, has established site and commenced the mining phase of the Bulk Sample on time. Appropriate Process Technologies Pty Ltd will commence commissioning of the 20 tonne per hour scrubber plant at the beginning of November.
Russell Lamming, Chief Executive Officer of Keras, commented, "I am pleased to report that the Bulk Sample has commenced as planned and the start of Phase 1 yesterday represents another milestone in the Nayega Manganese Project's progression towards regulatory approval for commercial production. I think it is important to reiterate that the entire project is fully funded, this includes a management fee for Keras which will cover overheads and salaries."
