Kier to deliver £100m North Staffordshire NHS Trust contract
Kier Group plc has been appointed Principal Supply Chain Partner by the University Hospital of North Staffordshire NHS Trust to support the integration of an extensive range of health and care services under the ProCure21+ framework. The contract is valued at over £100m. Work on the first projects is due to start on site in July 2014 with the overall programme of works continuing until at least 2018.
Kier's partnership with the Trust will cover a wide range of work, including refurbishment, extension and new build projects, ranging in value from £1m to £20m. Kier's work will support the integration of health and care services at City General Hospital in Stoke and Stafford Hospital.
