Kier in trio to deliver £275m East Midlands Property Alliance framework

Kier has been selected as one of three contractors to form the East Midlands Property Alliance (EMPA) Intermediate Projects Partnering Framework. The £275m four-year framework starts immediately and is for the procurement of new build and refurbishment projects in the region valued between £2m and £7.5m.

This is a managed framework and work will be evenly distributed across the framework partners. 

Kier's locally-based businesses within its regional network will carry out the work.  

Sixteen authorities across the East Midlands have now committed to working together through EMPA with further authorities also in the process of joining. It is hoped that all 46 authorities will use some, if not all, of the services being promoted by EMPA over time.

This framework contract is the first service to commence in what will be a comprehensive range of regional developments to help drive the efficiency agenda.
