Certain Directors of Kingfisher plc, whose names are set out below,
technically became interested in the following numbers of Kingfisher plc
ordinary shares of 13.75p each, acquired by the Trustees of the Kingfisher
1993 Employee Share Ownership Plan Trust ('ESOP') (a discretionary trust
established by Kingfisher plc for the benefit of its employees and those of
its subsidiaries):

750,000 shares acquired on 31st October 2001 at a price of 332.35 pence

Note: For Companies Act purposes, certain Directors of Kingfisher plc, whose
names are set out below, together with all employees of the Company, are
deemed to have a technical interest in any shares in which the ESOP has an
interest.
