The Directors announce that Mr Roger Latham retired as Chairman and Chief
Executive on Friday 15th December 2006 after 44 years service with the company
and that they have elected Mr Peter Latham to take over his roles. Peter Latham
paid tribute to Roger's contribution to the company's success since becoming
Chairman in November 2000. He noted that Roger had overseen the completion of
the sale of the Clapton site, the relocation of the Head Office and the London
trading operations, the opening of new branches in Dudley and Gateshead and the
sale of Nevill Long. He has left the company in a sound financial position and
able to take advantage of profitable opportunities as they arise.
