Issue of Options & Share Dealings

James Latham plc announces that on 16 December 2008 it issued 58,621 options under the James Latham plc Approved Company Share Option Scheme 2008. These options are exercisable between 16 December 2013 and 15 December 2018 at a price of 116 pence per share. Included in the options granted are those granted to the following directors:

In addition, James Latham Plc announces that on 17 December 2008 its wholly owned subsidiary James Latham Trustee Limited purchased 30,000 ordinary 25p shares to enable it to meet awards under the Company's share option schemes, at a price of 116.75p per share. David Dunmow and Pippa Latham, directors of James Latham Plc, are also directors of James Latham Trustee Limited. The directors of James Latham Plc are potential beneficiaries of the Company's share option schemes.
