Latham(James) PLC
18 October 2007
The Directors of James Latham plc are pleased to announce that the strong
trading conditions reported on in the accounts to 31 March 2007 and in the AGM
statement in August have continued throughout the first six months of this
financial year. Turnover and net profits will be comfortably ahead of the
equivalent period last year. There are however signs of prices weakening in our
markets and so these trading conditions are not expected to continue in the
second six months. Nevertheless turnover and profits for the year are now
expected to be significantly ahead of current market expectations.
The results for the six months to 30 September 2007 will be released on 5
December 2007 and will be the first results prepared under International
Accounting Standards.
