Longhurst Group ("Longhurst") and Grand Union Housing Group ("Grand Union"): Investor update following announcement of proposed business combination

Following agreement by both boards, Longhurst and Grand Union have agreed to merge the two organisations to create a social landlord with over 36,000 homes, making it one of the largest housing associations in the region.

This will be completed via a Transfer of Engagements of Longhurst to Grand Union and is expected to be completed before the end of March 2025, subject to lender consents.

Please join the team on 5 November 2024 at 11am for an update on the merger, its objectives, and the proposed group structure, with opportunity for some Q&A following management's presentation. The team can also make themselves available for follow up discussions - please outline to Newbridge if this is something that would be appreciated.

Longhurst and Grand Union will be represented on the call by:

-           Julie Doyle: Chief Executive Officer (Longhurst)

-           Robert Griffiths: Deputy Chief Executive & Chief Financial Officer (Longhurst)

-           Mona Shah: Executive Director of Finance & Business Services (Grand Union)

-           Yasmin Holley: Director of Finance (Longhurst)

-           Chris Bellamy: Director of Finance & Treasury (Grand Union)
