Liontrust Asset Management PLC (the "Company") was notified on 1 February 2010 that OCS Trading Limited is interested in an aggregate of 2,699,469 ordinary shares in the Company, representing 8.02% of the Company's issued share capital, held as set out below:

·    1,398,000 shares, representing 4.15% of the Company's issued share capital, held indirectly through a financial instrument held by Cantor Fitzgerald; and

·    1,301,469 shares, representing 3.87% of the Company's issued share capital, held directly by OCS Trading Limited.
