Board Appointment
At the Board Meeting held today Friday 19th July 2002 the following changes to
the Directors were approved.
Mr Neil Clyne becomes a non-Executive Director of the Company from today's date
in place of Mr Gerard J Ryan who has resigned from the Board with immediate
effect following his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of GE's consumer
finance business in the Czech Republic.
Mr Clyne of GE Capital Woodchester was appointed to act as Alternate Director
for Mr Ryan on 13th July 2000. Neil Clyne has over 20 years finance industry
experience gained primarily in sales, operations and business development roles.
He has recently been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of GE Capital
Woodchester.
The Board express their thanks to Mr Ryan for his work as a non-Executive
Director of the Company over the last two years.
Lookers plc confirms that there are no other details which require to be
disclosed under paragraph 6F.2b - g of the UKLA Listing Rules with respect to
Neil Clyne.
