Lookers plc - substantial shareholder

The Board of Lookers plc ('Lookers' or 'the Company') was notified on Friday 23 May 2008 that the family interests of Mr Tony Bramall have acquired a further 200,000 Lookers ordinary shares of 5 pence each on 22 May 2008 at a price of 88.5 pence per share.

Mr Tony Bramall and his family interests are holders of 36,762,710 shares representing 20.30% of the existing issued share capital of the Company. All shares are voting shares. One vote one share.
