The Board of Lookers plc announce the resignation of Mr Allan Marston as a
Director after 31 years service with the Company.  He has made a major
contribution to the success of the Lookers Group over many years.  The Board
thank him for his valuable contribution and wish him well for the future.

The Board are delighted to announce the promotion of David Dyson to the post of
Group Financial Director from his existing post as Motor Division Finance
Director.  David Dyson joined Lookers over 10 years ago after 12 years with
Deloitte & Touche, Manchester. Aged 44, Mr Dyson is a Fellow of the Institute of
Chartered Accountants and was awarded a BSc in Accountancy and Economics before
commencing his Articles with Touche Ross.
