                  Result of the Extraordinary General Meeting


The Board of Lookers is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General
Meeting held earlier today, the resolution to approve the acquisition of FPS
Distribution was duly passed.


Copies of the ordinary resolution passed today have been submitted to the UK
Listing Authority, and will shortly be available for inspection at the UK
Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary
Wharf, London E14 5HS.
