Appointment of New Non-Executive Director

Lowland Investment Company plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Susan Gaynor Coley as a non-executive director to the Board with effect from 1 November 2016.

She was formerly a Director of the Eden Project, Cornwall (1998-2013) and Director of Public Programmes with Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (2013-2015).

Prior to Eden Project, she spent six years at University of Plymouth as a Director of Finance. 

Ms Coley is currently the Chairman of the Corporate Responsibility Advisory Group at the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a non-executive director on the Board of Ignite Investment Fund For Social Enterprise, which is part of Centrica PLC.

In accordance with paragraphs 9.6.13 (1) to (6) of the UKLA Listing Rules, it is confirmed that there are no additional details to be disclosed in relation to Ms Coley.
