LSL Property Services plc ('LSL' or 'the Company')
Pre-Close Trading Update
LSL, a leading provider of residential property services, incorporating estate
agency brands Your Move and Reeds Rains and surveying brands e.surv and
Chancellors Associates, is today providing a pre-close trading update for the
year ended 31 December 2006. The Company is due to announce its preliminary
results on the 7 March 2007.
The UK housing market has been relatively strong in the last quarter of 2006 and
both the surveying and estate agency businesses have performed well.
Accordingly, the results for the full year will be slightly ahead of our
expectations at the time of the Company's listing in November 2006.
Simon Embley, CEO of LSL commented:
'Following our successful flotation, we are pleased with our trading performance
in 2006, which provides a strong platform for us to deliver future growth by
continuing to grow market share and profitability of our core surveying, estate
agency and financial services businesses and through selective acquisitions.'
