                      Acquisition of RMF Investment Group



Man Group plc (the 'Company') announces that the acquisition of 100 per cent of
the issued share capital of RMF Investment Group was completed today. 43,621,216
new ordinary shares of 10p each in the capital of the Company have been issued
in connection with the acquisition and admitted to the Official List of the UK
Listing Authority and to trading on the London Stock Exchange's market for
listed securities.



Footnote

Following this transaction, the listed and issued share capital of the Company
is 310,841,388 ordinary shares of 10 pence each fully paid.'
