The Board of Man Group plc announces that Garth Ramsay, a non-executive
director of the Company, has informed it of his intention to stand down as a
director with effect from today.

Harvey McGrath, Chairman of Man Group, said:

'Garth has been a valued member of the Man Board. We are very grateful for the
contribution he has made over the years and all his colleagues here wish him
well for the future.'
