Transactions in own shares

Man Group plc (the "Company") announces that it has purchased the following number of its ordinary shares of 3 3/7 US cents on the London Stock Exchange as part of its US$125 million share buyback programme announced on 9 March 2023.

The Company intends to hold the purchased shares in treasury. Following the purchase and settlement of these shares, the Company will hold 105,630,798 of its ordinary shares in treasury and will have 1,207,719,161 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).

Since the commencement of the share repurchase programme, the Company has repurchased 34,750,241 ordinary shares in aggregate at a weighted average price of 245.3651 pence per share.

Following the transaction noted above, the Company has now purchased 136,949,799 of the maximum 136,949,799 ordinary shares that it was authorised by shareholders to repurchase at the Company's 2022 AGM.   As a result, the $125 million share buyback programme announced on 9 March 2023 will now be paused and will resume subject to the resolution seeking authority to repurchase up to 124,190,442 ordinary shares being passed by shareholders at the Company's forthcoming AGM on 5 May 2023.

All transactions under this programme will be published on the Company's website (www.man.com) on a weekly basis.
