Marks and Spencer Group PLC announces changes

to its board committee membership

Marks and Spencer Group plc today announces the following changes to membership of its Board Committees with immediate effect:

-    Vindi Banga, who joined the Board as a non-executive director on 1 September has been appointed a member of the Nomination & Governance and Remuneration Committees;

-    Martha Lane Fox will remain a member of the Audit Committee and Nomination & Governance Committees but will step down as a member of the Remuneration Committee.
