announced that it will hold an investor conference call tomorrow, Wednesday,
October 27, 2004 to discuss the adoption of a series of significant reforms to
the business model of Marsh Inc., MMC's risk and insurance services subsidiary. 
The company now plans to announce its third quarter results on Tuesday,
November 9, 2004.

Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of MMC, will lead a
discussion and question and answer period concerning the reforms beginning at
