              MMC TO HOLD INVESTOR CALL ON FEBRUARY 13 TO DISCUSS

                    FOURTH QUARTER AND YEAR-END 2006 RESULTS



NEW YORK, NEW YORK, January 30, 2007-Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (MMC)
plans to announce fourth quarter and year-end 2006 results on Tuesday, February
13, 2007 in a news release to be issued before the market opens.  The release

Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of MMC, and Matthew
B. Bartley,  chief financial officer, will lead a discussion with investors on
financial results, including a question and answer period, at 10:00 a.m. Eastern
